Getting More From User Profiles
If you're only entering the bare minimum for a user's profile, you're missing out on some time-saving filtering and reporting options.
Read on to learn what entering a user's title, division, and supervisor can do for you.
User Title
Users' titles are used as filters for user lists and the Supervisor Report.
They also make it a cinch to assign users with the same title to projects or courses. For example, you might want to assign a course to all users with theManager title.
Division
The division provides another alternative for filtering users. Like the title, the division can also be used to assign users to projects or courses.
Supervisor
In addition to being used as a filter for user lists and the Learner Report, the names of supervisors are used to generate the results of SmarterU's Supervisor Report.
Endless Combinations
Don't forget that you can use more than one filter anywhere in SmarterU.
