Public Library Access

You'll now be able to decide who has access to the public course library using the Public Library Access account setting. 

This setting enables you to limit the courses that users see to only account courses.

You can change the Public Library Access setting on the Create Account page under the Account Description section.

View Account Users

The new account permission, View Account Users allows you to control who has access to the account's full user list. 

You should assign the View Account Users permission to users who are responsible for:

• assigning courses to users across the account so that they can access the full list of users

• creating users for the account so that they can properly assign users' their supervisors

Selecting SmarterU's Language

For those users whose primary language is Arabic or French, you can easily change the language of SmarterU's system-generated text.

All you have to do is select the language from the dropdown located in the lower right corner.

Note that this only changes system-generated text; user-generated text will continue to display in the language that it was entered.

Changing Your Account's Look with Themes

You can instantly transform the look of your account by using one of SmarterU's account themes.

To change your account's theme, select one of the pre-defined themes from the Account Theme dropdown.

There are 6 pre-defined themes for you to choose from (Spring Flowers shown below).

Or if you'd prefer, you can create your own custom theme. Whichever option you choose, you'll be able to coordinate your SmarterU account to reflect your organization's style.

Creating Question Pools

You can vary the quiz questions that learners in your course are asked by creating question pools.

Simply specify the number of questions to ask the learner in the quiz's Number of Questions Per Quiz Attempt field and add more questions than the number specified.

By using question pools, you can reduce the likelihood that your learners will be taking the exact same quiz.
